How to Use the KSAs

1. Assess

   • KSA Jump Start Audience Specific Strategies
     1. Administrators can use the KSAs to hire staff, strengthen current staff, and provide professional development opportunities.
     2. Employers can use the KSAs to place young employees in their organization and help their employees work with younger colleagues.
     3. Youth Service Practitioners can use the KSAs to strengthen their work, access and use professional development, and better support the organizations and youth they serve.
     4. Policymakers can use the KSAs to improve youth outcomes and decrease risky behavior, as well as create a system of professional development for youth service practitioners.
     5. Youth & Family can use the KSAs to identify programs and people with the right mix of knowledge and skills to connect them to workforce development and educational opportunities.
