ED Releases Technical Changes to IDEA Regulations

On June 30,  the U.S. Department of Education published final regulations under Parts B and C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in the Federal Register. These final regulations make technical conforming changes to implement statutory amendments to IDEA by the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The final regulations can be read online at the Federal Register’s public inspection site.
