On Wednesday, April 18th, the LEAD Center launched a two-week national dialogue called Money Matters. This dialogue is an opportunity for interested individuals to share their accomplishments, strategies, and partnerships that support the design and delivery of effective financial literacy education to youth and/or adults with disabilities and demonstrate how this can promote long-term employment outcomes. In addition, it will also highlight barriers and solutions to effective financial literacy education for people with disabilities. The LEAD Center encourages participation from workforce development professionals, disability professionals, financial services professionals, financial literacy educators, people with disabilities, family members, and advocates.
