ODEP Hosting Two Online Dialogues on Disability Employment

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) is currently hosting two online dialogues related to disability employment through December 15th. The first online dialogue is called, “Work Matters: Laying the Groundwork for States as Model Employers“, and it calls on disability, service provider, and employer communities to help inform disability employment policies within states. This dialogue will be open for participation through December 15th. The second online dialogue, “Careers in the Arts Toolkit Online Dialogue“, is a joint collaboration between ODEP, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and Art Beyond Site (ABS) and will take place on December 15th. It is intended to circulate ideas about resources that may benefit people with disabilities who hope to pursue education, training, or employment opportunities in the arts. This dialogue will be used to inform NEA’s development of a toolkit for individuals with disabilities pursuing careers in the arts.
